Contact & Email

If you would like to commission me, please contact me at marpagelart@gmail.com, or through direct messaging on Twitter/Instagram, with the following information:

SUBJECT: Commission

  • Your social media (so I can credit you!)

  • Commission type (full illustration, lineart, etc.)

  • Commission details (two characters, bust, mood/lighting/activities/background/etc. if Applicable

  • Character references (visuals preferred, text descriptions will have additional cost, I'm not a police sketch artist)

  • Price quote request if needed

  • Your Paypal Email

There's no need to fill it out as a form if you won't want to, this is just the information that I need. But Please have the work COMMISSION in your subject line, or I may accidentally skip your email. Please tell me everything you think I need to know, or what you'd want me to know. No such thing as too much info sometimes.

If you do want to remain anonymous when I post a commission, or would request I post it on/after a specific date, I'll be more than willing to do that for you.

IMPORTANT: For most commissions, I will go through a sketch approval process with you, I make whatever fixes your request and then I finish the commission from there if you would like to skip this step, I can, however, it removes the rights to a refund should you not be happy with the end result.

Payment

Payment is NOT to be manually sent by you, the commissioner. I work through invoices and only through that should you pay! I accept Paypal only. Payment is expected within 3 days after the agreement, clients who take longer will be sent a reminder unless I am informed beforehand that you require an extended waiting time until you are able to pay.

For commissions under $180, I require payment in full before I begin working. For commissions over $180, you have a choice to pay 50% first, then the other 50% once you have received a sketch you are happy with.

For information on refunds please refer to the Terms of Service page.

FAQ

Frequently asked Questions

FAQ

What files do I get of my Commission?

Aaaaaaa

What files do I get of my Commission?

You will receive a full-sized.PNG of the artwork, and a sized-down version for uploading to the web (one I will be uploading.)

I will not give the .PSD or .AI files to clients not only to protect my work but to also protect your commission!

How long does commissioned work take to Complete?

This varies on many factors: other real-life responsibilities, artwork type, other commissions I also have at the time, personal work, etc. I can give you estimates but those won't be held up by a guarantee.

I prefer not to, but I will work with deadlines for commercial projects if need but an additional charge will be added for this. (for putting priority to your own work.)

You forgot a detail!

Assuming that the detail is small and won't require much more additional work. Please make sure to have all the important details big or small, in your commission email inquiry.

Can I have the unwatermarked version of my commission?

Only commercial commissions have no watermark due to the commercial charge that pays for this service, personal commissions need my watermark or signature to protect both your commission and my work.

Can you lower your commission prices for me?

There is no special treatment here. The prices are, what they are. I do need to eat.

You're taking a long time on my commission, have you forgotten?

In most cases, no I have not forgotten. I do need to take breaks once and awhile due to eye strain, I do have other responsibilities besides your commission.

If you are worried, you can always shoot me an email and ask for a progress update, I'll be happy to help you.

You've taken too long, I want a refund.

If you do request a refund, you are responsible for paying for what I have already done, with a maximum refund of 50% assuming I haven't starting working on it yet.

If you cannot be patient, please don't commission me. Art takes time, thank you for understanding.
